Me and my roommate couldn't see anything when we were looking underneith the car. this morning when I was driving to work, noticed when hitting the accelerator there was a rattling noice, sounds kinda like a spray paint can when you spin it in a circle really fast. it'll continue for a moment after I release the gas, then again when I hit it.
Any ideas on where to look next?

I'm sorry I blanked that out. it's a 93SSE
The sound is coming from about a foot away from the left front tire.

Does it go with the engine rpm, does it sound like its coming from engine or like a wheel bearing

it'll go as the RPM's go up, but as soon as I release the accelerator, the noise will stop, no matter what the RPM is, driving, or while in idle.
I can't pinpoint if it's a wheel bearing or not, I don't have a second person to help me look.

alright, ABS light is on now, I just noticed it on this morning, could this be a wheel bearing problem? The ABS sensor is on the front left side of the bonne correct?

Im not sure where ABS is I thought they are on all 4 but, I am thinking wheel bearing but check everything first you dont want to change for nothing, they are easy to install but expensive.

Yeah, I had a chance to take a better look at it this afternoon, and I don't know if it's a wheel anymore, I think the sound rattling was coming from under the drivers seat :(

catalytic converter maybe

it could be your catalitic converter...if the precious metals inside break they will rattle inside the converter and start to plug up the exhaust and will cause your car to lose power...similar to the banana in the tail pipe theory. Also...check to see if any of your heat shrouds on your exhaust have become lose...it will cause a noise on acceleration also

It sounds like pinging (pre-ignition) to me. Try a better grade of gas. I suppose it could be a problem wit the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Isn't there a knock sensor too?
