Hi all,
here are some pictures of my current project, the Tamiya CLK-DTM Warsteiner.
As you will see, I put a lot of carbon which is a bite boring but it worth the result. :)

I let you go on my personal directory here :

Hi Guys,
Salut Laurent,
Thanks for you comments !
I use the Carpena carbon decal, but I am not really happy about them !
it is a bit too light grey, the detail are too big.
I would say that the 1/24 decals is appropriate for a 1/20 F1 or even a 1/12 bike !
For next time, I'll use the Scale Motor Sport sheet.
I am going to write an article about this kit for my club's website. I'll manage to translate it in english.
Laurent, félicitations pour ta Focus, très sympa comme toutes les autres d'ailleurs et merci pour ton message !
A+
Cheers,
Steve ;)

Here is the finished kit. They are online in my personal folder :

Seb, you used the Renaissance carbone ? is it good ? Because the Carpena is not very realistic.
I compared it with a 1/12 Scale Motor Sport and the detail are the same size !!!!   :D

Sorry for the late, steve, i was on travel for works...
To my mind, renaissance are good, but i can't compare it to carpena wich i never use or to scalemotosport (i only use kevlar one from sms).
But renaissance one looks nice on my model...but take care...i have too piece of decal with same reference...and they not came with same colour.... :-( so be sure too have a one piece enougth decal before starting work...if you order one more it may not have same colour :-(

what's now the model on your desk ??? ASTRA ???

Thanks !
on my desk right now is a WW2 plane !!! :finger:
yes I also build planes and now I must finish the one that I begun before the CLK.
But my next car project is the Astra I think ! But I still hesitate which one ! I have the 2 Tamiya and 2 more decal sheets from Studio 27.

Hey, do you know that Airfix-Heller just released the Subaru 2001 and the Lancer WRC ?! I was very asthonised ! But I couldn't open the box in the shop because they were in the small plastic protection !

On est pas le seule à parler le Français ici.

Une Mercedes, et par xim-crow, comme d'habitude, toujours un boulot très bien fait! Félicitations!!

In other words, a Merc by xim-crow, as always a work superbly done!
