Ok, I posted on here about my new car that I bought a little while ago. Well I've been working on working out the bugs in it and here's what I've got just from the code scan at Advance.

Code 11 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp Circuit Problem

Code 22 - TPS Signal Voltage is too low

Code 29 - Output Driver Module Fault

Code 34 - MAP Sensor signal voltage is too low

I know the code 11 is the SES bulb blown out and the code 29 is a blown fuse for the AIR pump. I'll work on those later, these next two are costing me too much to run the car.

Both code 22 and 34 are low voltage for the sensors listed above. So I went out and bought a digital multimeter from Advance to scan them.

Here's what I got from the readings with the key just before starting the car:

MAP Sensor
Black and Gray - 4.96V
Black and Green - 0V

TPS Sensor
Black and Gray - 4.96V
Black and Blue - 0.02V closed throttle all the way through open throttle

I should be getting around 4.5V on the map sensor instead of 0 and .2-.9 for the TPS instead of 0.02V. So, what should I look for instead of replacing the sensors?

The MAP problem may be a result of the TPS problem. I'd replace the TPS, it is a wear and tear item. As for the "blown" SES bulb, I think it's actually been removed or intentionally broken.
