I'm near greenville, sc and the closest tracks around here are all 1/8 mile. Just curious what some of your 1/8 mile times/mods/and model.

i have a friend that runs 8.5s in a 73 ford maverick there all the time and he wants to help me build an eclipse.

i am in the same situation that you are . i don't have any 1/4 mile tracks around me either . so it would be interesting to see some post in this thread.
also my car is a spyder and i don't know yet if they will let my car go on the track seeing that it is a convertible and i have no roll bar or cage.

i visited this website and those are some great times but i really want to talk to the people that run 1/8 mile tracks and talk about mods and launching and such...This site only says which turbo they have which is useless without the other mods and reaction times posted...

i am actually from Lagrange but i live in Columbus now. well there is a track here in Phenix city AL.(1/8 mile) and of course the one in Lagrange(1/8 mile) where you are.but i just found out today that there is a track not far from here called the silver dollar raceway that has 1/4 mile track.

well i'm from LG but now I go to college at Clemson. where is that silver dollar raceway. and there's one in LG? i didn't know that either

anyone else from the area ever been to silver dollar? how is it? when are open runs?

silver dollar is in reynolds ga about 30 min from columbus. i havent been there yet but i plan on going soon.

the track in lagrange has been there about three years now its off new hutchunson mill road . its on hogg mountian road. but its only 1/8 mile. They do test and tune on friday nights and race on saturday and sunday. its a small track nothing special but it was cool when i lived there they even had special nights just for import racers.
