Very very nice model. I especially like the CF work on the suspension arms and the detail in the rear wing. Looking forward to more models from you.

All the best,

Beautiful clean build, I plan to build this car one day and I hope it's up to this level. I also like the display base, although the stands for the engine cover are probably a little overkill for my liking. I'd get rid of them and have the cowling on the base.

I agree.

I also like the display base, although the stands for the engine cover are probably a little overkill for my liking. I'd get rid of them and have the cowling on the base.

I disagree on two counts. Firstly, I think that it is important to raise the cowling a little to show the detail that lies underneath. I can see heat shielding and CF under the cowling which I wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Secondly, I think that the stands are well executed and fit the overall theme.

Having said that, if it was me, I would have chosen a less obtrusive way of mounting the cowling, most likely a single clear rod.

Maybe, better still, a couple of thin wires which could suspend the cowling over the engine bay of the car.

Each to their own, eh?

The F1 teams often sit the engine covers on stands in the garages. Often out the front to display the sponsor's wares. Usually they are of a fairly light weight, almost spidery construction. It's not like they need to hold much weight.
