Hey I need some help i am trying to install an Alpine deck in my car but it would work? i only get sound on AUX when i turn the key back. And when i turn the car on the deck will light up and will play but with no sound??? I need some mega help please I have all the wires and harness and i went to ultimate electronics and they said something about an amp and that theres more plugs and some bullS*&t and i dont know:banghead: ! i really dont want to pay to get that installed. So if any one has ideas please please tell.

first it will be better that you connect the power wire (red) to the battery directly with a fuse

about the sound check the wires and make sure they are connected to the speaker following the right polarity

you dont need an amp to make the deck to work just make sure is connected correctly

in the top of the deck you can find the wiring diagram with wiring colors

so you dont get lost on that

I don't know if yours is or not, but some higher end Alpine decks don't have internal amplifiers, so for those you would need amps.
