Electrical Problem

Alright so when my car is on, everything pulses. What I mean by pulse is that every single light gets bright then dim then bright then dim really really quickly. Also, the battery gauge on my dash goes up and down very quickly. It probably only moves about 1/8 of the whole gauge.

Does anyone know what this is? If you need to I can get a video of the gauge and the lights tonight. I just got a new alternator like 6 months ago so I don't think that's it...

is the flickering in time with the engine speed? could be a short or ground issue.

Sounds like your alternator is going again, either that or a bad ground some where.

yeah engine vibration shaking a connection is what im refering to.

Check the tensioner out, they're pretty low to the ground and I've replaced my neighbors a couple of times because they'll pick up slush and alot of water and make the spring weak.
