Please help!......I have a 02 Chev Cavalier and my driver's side window will let down, but when I try to let it up, it goes up a little and then stops. It takes a very long time to go up and whenever I push the "up" button, it goes up a little and stops. In the rain, I ride down the street pressing the "up" button until it eventually closes. What is causing this? Is there a part that I can buy and if so, where does it go??

either something is pressing agaisnt the window causing friction (inside the door) or your motor is going bad and you'll need to replace it soon (also inside the door)

Yeah its most likely the motor, im not sure if its called the same for power windows it could be the "window regulator" or just the window motor its called. A slim chance it could be the wiring, but possible, damaged wire etc.

My guess would be the cheap window regulator. My pass. side window was going real slow in my Silverado. So, I tried to force it up and then it completely broke! $275 for a new one with me replacing it.
