1997 Intermittent Power Window Problem

Anyone have this problem ---> 95% of the time the power windows work fine. Sometimes they dont work at all and when that happens the power locks dont work either. This is an intermittent problem and only happens occasionally. Thanks

If your car doesn't start when this happens (no power to fuel relay), I'd say its bad contacts in the RAP relay. (retained accessory power) in fuse panel 2.

When it happens, try opening the door and closing it and see if the windows now work. You should take note of all the other accessories that don't work when it happens again. You may find most things in the fuse panel 2 are not working.

The windows and door locks are on seperate fuses.

There is a circuit breaker for the wndows in fuse panel 1, but that wouldn't explain the door locks.
