2004 Malibu Classic rubbing noise turn left

Would appreciate some help with this one.
I have noise when I turn left, but only when I apply the brakes. It is like a rubbing noise, maybe like a brake chatter. I never experienced brake chatter, but I am guessing it might be something like this. I replaced the brakes and the rotors. The car has 50,000 miles on it. This only happens when I turn left. It does not make noise when I am going slow and braking or when I am turning only slightly. There is no noise at all when I turn right.
Ideas?? Thanks, Roy

Did the noise start after you did the brake job ?
How did the guide pins look ?
Did you put them back right, i think one has a slight difference and they can not be reversed ?
did you grease them with high temp grease ?
how does the left rotor look ?
did you use new anti rattle clips ?
Turn the wheel to the left and look in the fender area of both wheels, with the wheels on and off.
I can tell you I had the same sort of thing happen to my Impala. Now I am not sure if a Malibu has the same and I do not feel like going out and looking.
In the wheel well there are plasic, ummm , shroud , where the trans axle goes through. I was checking a motor mount a pulled one of those aside, I thought it snapped back in place, it did not and protruded out a little. The tire would rub against it only when turning right. I could actually see burn marks in the plastic shroud.

The noise seems to have started after the job. But, I don't think it started right away. The store where I bought the brade pads didn't have a rebuild kit available. So, I didn't change all the parts. It seems that you might be thinking that there is still something wrong with the brakes. So, I will take another look at that. I will check to see if I can get a kit first. I used high temperature grease. And the rotor looks good, it is new. I was thinking that it might be a rubbing problem also. I will definately look to where the trans axle goes through. I thought that it might be a tire rubbing problem and didn't see anything there. Thanks for your input. It give me something to think about.

what do you mean rebuild kit, I just use new pads and a new rotor / turned rotor. I hardly ever rebuild the caliper unless it is leaking. Did you put the anti rattle springs back on ? Did you put the guide pins back correctly, they are not both the same ? As I found out with my Impala, where the tire rubs there should be a scrape mark. Actually I looked at the impala today for something else and the area where the axle goes through is open, farther forward in the wheel well is the plastic shroud, might be the same for the Malibu.

It has been a while since I replaced pads on a vehicle. But, I used to be able to get new springs in a rebuild kit. I didn't have a chance to look at the vehicle yesterday. But, I will try either today or tomorrow. I also think I will get some more high temp lubricant and redue that. Thanks for your reply. Roy
