We've been in the mid to high 80's with some killer humidity and lack of rain.
I think this is the driest spring since I've been in fl

what what? back on topic?? Today was soo nice out, i decided to skip history and go to the park next to the golf course and light up. Came back to school, had some pizza's n some mountain dew, and played frisbee right through sociology. its ok, i found out later that class was cancelled anyway. goddamn i love this weather. Summer's too hot, Winter's too cold, and fall is too... dead.

I skipped and went to the beach last week...it was really nice out.
I don't like Florida at 7 in the morning when I leave for school and you can barely breathe because it feels like you're drinking the air. It's sooooo humid here. Makes your body feel all sweaty. Bleh.

Living in DeLand is really nice, it's just starting to grow on me. I was really looking forward to moving to Orlando for school, but it's such a big city with so many tourists that I actually think I'm going to hate it.
And I used to live in Key West, that's a terrible place to live. Takes 45 minutes to get across a 4 mile island...Ugh.

I ended up just watching a babbling brook for like 10 or 15 minutes on a small bridge.those are the cool moments... when nothing else matters, just focusing on anything but real life at the moment. no ringing phones, no debt, no responsibilities. can't wait to go fishing.

oh, absolutely, but i'll tell ya, the absolute perfect place for me is by a stream like that with some friends just chilling in this weather, jamming on some guitars, drinkin a few beers, but just feeling completely relaxed without a care in the world. :smokin:

Now that sounds like a good summer time thing to do.
It's a shame I don't have any friends that like to drink here.
And yes the humidity here sucks.........makes it feel hotter and more muggy than it really is.

living in wi can be nice cuz we get 4 very distinct seasons, but we also have very dry weather a lot. you won't believe what that can do to ur skin. no matter how much lotion you rub in or how much chapstick you put on, u still have dry or peeling skin. :( and it's not just me. which is why i love the summer so much, nice humidity makes my lips all soft :)

I love hurricanes. I love when the power goes out and you have no light or water for a few days...
There is absolutely no sarcasm there. I actually do like it. Makes me feel like I could survive if I got trapped on an island like Tom Hanks...

^ The part that I hate the most is the fact I have missed alot of work with much needed money for hurricanes that have never directly hit my area.
It's fun as hell thought to go to the beach when the cane is right offshore or passing not to far from ya. Unless you bring your fav hat and your drunk cuz you will never catch up to your hat again

Hah. Hurricane parties are the best...
My dad has some redneck friends that live right on the St. John's and the year before last we had a hurricane party there and it was all fun and cool until it flooded. :(

you just need floating tables and chairs and floaty cover things you can put ur drinks in. don't let a little thing like a flood ruin your party

If you get drunk enough you wouldn't even know it was there. Around the Tampa area they throw mad hurricane parties in the clubs but after the 3rd one of the season rolls by they kind of die out.
On my checklist of hurricane items before my daughter was born was 3 cases of beer a full tank of gas
Now it's food water and gas.

wah? i live in london, you don't get too many cities bigger than that, i love it here. that said it is a love-hate relationship. over 60miles accross (maybe even more than that) there's so much to do (if you're bothered) and every district's different. i have all woods and stuff around my house, nice for walking in good weather, taking some photo of wildlife or scenery.
