I have a HEI distributor from an 85 IROC. The problem is that I don't know what the #1 plug connector is. Actually if anyone knows what the 2 plug wires on the left and right of the coil wire connectors are that is all I would need to know, since I do know the rotation and firing order. Oh yeah, this is the HEI with the coil in the cap. Thanks!

Thanks anyways. The only reason that I need this info so badly is because I wanted to finish installing my engine by the end of the weekend, otherwise I would just buy a book or something...?

If I'm getting you correclty, you are referring to the 2 next the 4 wire hook up for the ICM, sticking off the side of the cap? One is the battery feed and the other is your tach hook up.
Sorry I was VERY buisy all weekiend.

No problem. Actually what I am looking for is the #1 spark plug terminal. I have no clue what one it is and I don't want to install it sideways/backwards. Thanks.
