Bad Drivers

So I'm on my way to Omaha to go spend the night at my brother's house because I have some placemnet tests in the morning and as I'm driving I run across someone who damn near killed me. I'm going about 75 which yes is about 10 over and passing a F-150 on a double lane. He does not see me and starts to pull over into my lane. Yes, I do get a little weary but I've seen this happen so many times and they always start to notice me. Well, he doesn't. He merges over in what seemed to be a rather quick lane change and I hit my brakes and swerve to the right so that I'm not crushed. The right side of my car goes off the road and onto the dirt and grass as I am starting to lose control. He then realizes he damn near ran me over and swerves back. So I'm flying back up there because I'm like what the hell bro? I see it is a group of hispanics (and let me clarify that in NO way am I racist by any means!) all stuffed into this one truck. I'm no shitting you there had to of been 12 of them packed into this truck like sardines. Well, this isn't uncommon (at least where I live) and I was like no wonder he didn't see me. He had to look over about 6 peole sitting next to him! So later I pull over because he was so close that honest to God I didnt know if he had actuall rubbed up agianst my car. After seeing everything is in check I was back on my way angry, but under control. I'm sure most of you have experienced this type of stupidity yourselves but I just thought I'd share considering I was almost ran into a telphone pole. Oh well, what can you?

wow glad your ok .... that happened to me last night except it was a land rover with a mom driving and kids in the car luckly it was a 3 lane road she pretty much swerved quickly over to change lanes luckly i was paying attention and had my top down (it was hot and humid last night) so i notice he side blinker and figured she would try to get in front of me or behind me but basically didnt even notice my front end was at about the middle of her car when she swtiches over and nearly hits me i swerve to my left lane and lay on the horn luckly there wasnt a car to my left or it would have been a disaster ...

that's why I hate SUV's, they get the worst gas mileage imaginable, you can't see around them in traffic, oh and not to mention the fact that half the drivers are total fucking retards. Now I'm not sexist, but I've noticed that in my area a good 75% of the SUV drivers are women, and IDK how many times I've almost been sideswiped by them becuase they either aren't paying attention to what they're doing, or they just put on their blinker and change lanes.

That sounds similar to what happened to me a few years back. Except it wasnt a F-150 it was a tractor trailer. I still have no clue how I got out of that one without a scratch.

yea that sucks. those trucks have huge blindspots an our cars being really low doesnt help any. but yea ive almost had my front bumper taken off buy this guy in a cadillac on 24's. he was all leanin over so there was no way he could even see his mirrors an he never look back an came right into my lane an i had to hit the brake so he didnt wipe me out. an then he looked back an saw me afterwards an was like o well. then not even a mile down the road he jumped back into the other lane an a big pickup was right there an the pickup had to swerve off the road an the guy jus was like oh.. an jus went back into his lane. but there are a lot of idiots on the road. i try to stay out of blind spots if i can. cuz i myself have almost taken out a car late one night on the interstate. the guy must have been right in my blind spot for a few miles cuz i looked in all mirrors an even turned my head back an didnt see anything an went, an all i heard was a horn an then saw headlights come back on the road... :-/

It was such a jolt to my car it knocked a wire loose in my sub that I ended up having to sauder (SP?) back together.

I've seen plenty of bad drivers, but forget them. The one that sticks out in my mind, was when I drove home on the highway on my donut. Speed limit was 65, I was doing 55 with my blinkers on the whole way. At one point, a tractor trailer pretty much ran me off the road while passing me. He had PLENTY of space to pass me, but he wanted to be a prick, and swung his ass-end right into where my vr4 was. I ended up in the shoulder cursing, but untouched.

since were having a bitchin' session...im reminded of when i got completely ran off the road by a tractor trailor. luckily i was in my 86 maxima, not my vr4 (didnt have it yet). Going up I-95 to Plattsburg in upstate NY, snow storm, full car. Im just going like 55 in my lane, minding my business, driving safe because the roads were pretty bad. truck starts to pass me, and before even the whole cab was by me, he just comes right over and forces me onto the shoulder, which is covered in a foot of snow, so i spin off the road, into the ditch, and hit a tree. He didnt stop or even slow down. lucky he didnt though, becasue i would still be in jail right now...
the WORST part about the whole thing, is that my gf in the front seat and my 2 friends in the back seat were all asleep, so no one saw it happen, and they think im making it up and that i just went off the road becasue im a bad driver. UGH, now im getting all pissed off again...
the cop who stopped to help was like..."well, did you get the lic. plate?" lol....yea buddy, as i was spinning into the ditch, i grabbed a pen and jotted it down...idiot. All i know is that it was a Price Chopper truck...and ever since that day, i let the bird out of the cage whenever i see one.

Yeah I hate when people are like that. When I had my old LeSabre I went into the ditch because a guy with a truck pulled out in front of me on the ice and I lost control trying to stop for him. I lost control and ended up in the ditch and just like what happend to you no one believed me either. They just said I made up an excuse so I didn't look like an idiot. That guy also drove off.

My mom was in over the weekend and I rode with her to the store so I could pick up some vodka and orange juice :D. Some dumb ass pulled right out in front of us without even looking our direction. My mom slammed the brakes barely avoiding him. I yelled at her and told her she should have gassed it and smashed the dumb ass. Maybe getting hit will make stupid asses more likely to look before pulling out.

I have had so many experiences with people pulling out in front of me. I live by a highway near the hospital so I'm usually going around 60mph or so and an old lady (I cant stand old drivers like they cant stand young drivers) pulled out to go in the opposite direction where I was heading. It was either T-bone her caddy and kill her and possibly me and my passenger or take the turning lane where there was another car waiting to pull out. So I take the turn lane and weave between each car going about 50 or so now and back on to the highway. Thats the closest call with that I've ever had but those old folks are always pulling out of the hospital regardless of who is coming.
