So I was getting this rattling noise for sometime...but hadn't gotten into it. Now...I realize it is the PCV that's making the rattling noise. Before I found that out I actually happened to replace the PCV...and I still get the rattle. It seems to happen at under 600 RPM...like after I put it into drive after starting it. Is there anything I can do to stop it??? It is a bit annoying.

is it sitting firmly in place? do you have rough idle? they do rattle but takes alot of shaking to be able to hear it.

See if the throttle cable is still clipped to the intake braket if not zip tie it back cause it hits the PCV. See if the rubber elbow to the intake is good as well as the rubber smog type hose metal tube to PCV. Finallly, that connector on the intake is removable so see if its secure (rotates) and another vac hose comes off too so see if thats OK - follow it and it goes to the vac can drivers side fender and that hose always rots out.

And the winner is muddog321...for the throttle cable. I haven't zip tied it back yet...but even just after moving it away from the PCV tube...no more rattle. Thanks man.
