:frown: Hi:
I am new to this board. Today I noticed that the left turn signal on my buick century '94 does not flash. It stays on. Checked my owners manual and it says that the signal bulb is bad. Went to the automotive store and got the recommended 194 pack of bulbs. A stupid question now. Opened the trunk but did not see where to replace this stupid thing. If someone can give me directions what to do I really appreciate it.
Thanks

You should be able to pull up the carpet in the trunk. It may be held down with some push clips. Then you'll be able to see the rear of the tailight assembly. No tools should be neccessary to remove it. I think it is just some plastice wing nuts. Then you'll be able to get to the bulb.

Are you sure it's a 194 bulb? I thought they were 3057's for the rear turn sigal. I think the 194's go in the front.

Also, are you sure it's the rear bulb that's out?

Hi and thanks for your help. Here is my problem. The left signal stays on steady, no flashing when turned on. The outside left front and back do not flash either. Right side works fine. According to the owners manual the signal bulb is burned out. The replaceable light bulb section lists 194 for turn signal indicators and 2057 for rear tail/stop/turn signal lamps. Not sure which one to use. I opened the trunk and all I see is a bunch of black what looks like plastic wing nuts of some kind against the back of the trunk. I do not see any place where a bulb fits in. Do I have to turn the nuts to get to the bulb? My old nissan was so much more straight forward. Any help Greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yeah you're right. Take off those plastic wing nuts. Watch out the taillight doesn't fall, and it probably will not, then just replace the bulb. hope that helps.
