Hey i was wondering if any of you have any plans for a cold are intake or some kind of map or where it would fit on a 5th gen (90) celica gt 2.2l 5sfe.
I have a custom short ram air intake and i love the results but i think cold air would do much better because the pipe on the intake is getting pretty hot. I tried looking for somewhere to put a ram air system to put but i cant find anywhere to put the scoop or anything.

That Looks beautiful. :licka: I really wish i had the money and the knowledge to do it. I would have to buy a kit to install because iv NEVER touched nor driven a turbo car so turbo is way out of my mechanical league to build custom and the kits are out of my price range for a few months.

switching from short to cold intake will yield virtually no power.

These are the ones I sell. It seems to be the only feasible way to set up a CAI. Many people have bought them from me on toyotacelicaonline.com if you want to hear reviews of how they work. I'm not sayin to buy from me or anything, cut if you wanna know what others experienced with my CAI as opposed to a short ram you can post a topic on there or just search through already made forums. My name on there is 91gt4-4show. As in it will be my show car. Good luck!!

Can you tell me one thing? Where does the filter end up?
I dont have anything against buying from you or anybody and im not gonna mas produce or steal your idea i just want to try and build it myself So you dont have to answer if you dont want, But i was trying to run one to come out where the bumper opens up but the plastic stuff on the bottom of the car and the radiator is in the way.

meh duno about taht, i have a 300zx driving around right now thats been running 8psi of boost on only manual dizzy retard and an fmu w no intercooler and its been about a year and a half now of dailey driving, and he runs 87 octane :)
also have a 280z turbo running w no IC at 8psi....i feel its not really needed under 8psi...it will help and give more power, but its not too much of a risk, just watch your egt's and a/f and you wil be fine
and i actaully DONT reccomend a bypass valve, something about having a foam insert with rubber gromments held on by GLUE in my intake just dosent seem to fit real well in my mind, plus ive heard alot of stories of people sucking their bypass valves in their intake, dont be stupid and drive thorugh puddles

The filter ends up under the radiator near the ground... basically right on top of the plastic trim. It is best to cut the trim though so more wind can reach the filter.
