I was wondering how to install a performance ignition coil such as an msd coil in a 04 corolla. My email address is [email protected]

The stock ignition system is already optimized from the factory. It would be difficult to see any real gains from upgrading.
I don't think anyone even makes aftermarket coil packs for the 04 corolla (or 00+ corollas for that matter). The ignition coils for the 1ZZ-FE sit directly over the spark plug, in the manifold cover.

Well what else can I do gain more horsepower from the engine. I have installed a modified turbo kit with no lag. Do you think buying highperformance pistons and camshaft will make a difference. Can you add a some type of MSD component of some sort to optimize the ignition. And where would I go to get the most high performance piston and camshaft for a 04 corolla.

soo...did you or someone else install your turbo...cause it seems like you would be able to answer all of your questions if you installed and modified your turbo...

No one makes cam shafts for the 1zz-fe. Monkeywrenchracing.com (a site you should definately check out if you're interested in rebuilding your engine) tried to design one but it ran like crapt, so they dropped it.
But, the same company makes or sells complete rebuild kits for the 1zz and 2zz engines (or just the pieces). You should definately check them out.
Also, try "9thgencorolla.com".
