Almost finished with the alltrac build. The only things left to do are to figure out how to get some intake tubing to the airbox.. (the 20G inlet is huge compared to the ct26).. also have to hook up the oil feed for the turbo, find a battery, and weld up the exhaust.

awww. no front mount intercooler? :P its about too much headaches by now huh? looks really cool nonetheless.

fmic would yield him little right now, unless hes running more than the stock boost, or has a new turbo witch i think he said g20
i.e. i am using a stock dsm intercooler, doing a fmic conversion wouldnt net me any power, i would acutally think i would have more turbo lag due to the extra piping. an intercooler is like a condem, too big is usless, actually hurts you, you gotta find the right size :)

any car, too big of an intercooler will lower boost pressure (pressure drop) and give you a little bit of lag, resulting in less hp and a slower car, too smal will restrict flow and basically do the same thing, you have to find the right range, the stock alltrack tmic is good till about 250 HP then becomes a bit of a bottleneck
