As I live neither in the States nor in England, I don't no what you guys always mean with that 'blabla"' or always that 'IMO' ... what kind of abbreviation is that?
Mr Shush

'blabla"- I have no idea what that is
IMO - in my opinion
IMHO - in my honest opinion
JMO- just my opinion
you get the idea, and hey, we all gotta learn sometime, nothing to feel embarrassed about

hey guys,
" = "
We were using different software in the beginning, and when we used a conversion script to switch to vBulletin, it transferred all the posts, etc.
For security, so that nothing is "executed", it didn't convert quotes.

I think MegaBastardTurboNitrous used "wump" from time to time too, maybe if we get him in here we can see what "m00t" is.

m00t is nothing...w00t is what he says.
moot is acutally a word. It's meaning is completely contradictory. It means...either debatable, or already resolved. Thus, if something is moot it means that it is either debatable or ...well...not debatable.
as for "....
"whatever" on the last server became "whatever" on this server. That's all. It's a quotation.

Wump eep yull w00ty eepish wumpyness w00t :)
m00t? Moot is actually a word. You do not speak about w00t. Wump is not the same as w00t. m00t is off topic. Eep is a sound. Wump is not w00t nor m00t nor yull. Yull is the opposite of wump, but inlike w00t, is can be considered to be in the same clasification of m00t. Wumpyness is the state of being in wump. w00ty is a type of w00ty-ness, which is dervied from w00t.
Hope you got all that. Wump.
If you didn't, yull.

Here's the thing with ". In HTML, a quotation is a special character, meaning that when programming it, typing " in your program had special meaning. So to actually display a quote on the screen, instead of typing just a quote, you have to use " which will display a quote on the screen.
Also, for example, look at this: <html>
Anyone who knows HTML knows that you can't type that into your HTMl source code and display it on the screen because < and > are special characters. So to display it, you have to put <html> which will then display it properly instead of hiding it.

you are exactly right! :D
During the conversion, it would suck if by chance there's something like executable code is in any post. it won't work if there's " in it, and that's the point.
