My oil level sensor is leaking on the side of my oil pan, just a bit by the wires not the threads. Is there a way to fix it or should I go with a new one ($66.92 can). I was thinking of epoxy or some other type of heat resistant caulking where the wires enter the sensor???

I would clean up the sensor with alcohol or brake cleaner to get rid of as much oil as possible, and then trying sealing the wires just as you described.
Good luck.
