I found an article from a tech on the problem.... My check engine light is on. I haven't lost power but it is idling really rough.....
Let me quote what this guy says "Check engine light likes to come on. Again, it's a Jeep thing. Mainly, while working at the dealership, 99 percent of the time this was either a single or multiple cylinder misfire. Easy enough...change the plugs, add some DIY heat shieilding, and disconnect the battery. Be on your merry way. "
My question is: What is the DIY Heat Sheilding? Where do you put it????

DIY... as in "Do It Yourself"
Heat shielding.... some folks place a heat shield under the intake manifold to help deflect the heat radiating off the exhaust manifold. This shielding could be many things: wrapping the exhaust manifold with special insulating manifold tape or installing a sheet metal shield to the underside of the intake manifold are two that come to mind.
