Somebody Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME, I AM A FEMALE AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS...I HAVE A 1999 MONTE CARLO NAD THE SWITCHES FOR THE AC/HEATER BROKE OFF AND I CANNOT GET THE HEATER OFF ON THE DRIVERS SIDE..ITS LIKE THE THING IS STRIPPED ON THE INSIDE AND I CAN NO LONGER GET IT OFF...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME IF THERE IS A WIRE UNDER THE HOOD THAT I CAN DISCONNECT, OR A FUSE OR SOMETHING.....IT IS AS HOT AS HELL, AND I CANNOT TAKE IT BUT DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE IT IN...PLEASE HELP ME....YOU CAN CONTACT ME AT [email protected]

Do you have the owner's manual? for now you can review the fuse diagram and pull the fuse for the heater until you can find a better fix.

do you have the dual zone system where the passenger and drive rhave seperate controls for the cool/ hot settings. if so slide the middle controls down so they are cold or shut the fan off all the way wil the slides down. even thought the system is off air still enters the vehicle because the vents are open.

Do you have the owner's manual? for now you can review the fuse diagram and pull the fuse for the heater until you can find a better fix.

no, I dont have the owners manual...would that fuse be inside the car or under the hood and is it something I can do myself.

Yes I do have duel controls and but the air is only blowing cold on one side.. the switches, both have been broken off somehow and I was using my key to slide it up and down and Im sure I have striped the drivers side and when I turn it on its blows like hot hot heat, I think from the heater or outside, but I cant just turn on the other side as one controls for both sides.
Any more help will be sooooo appreciated...I am dying..lol

Take the covers off of the fuse block in the car and the one under the hood. They should be labeled on the back sides. Find the one for the blower motor. There might be a relay for the blower motor(might only shut off high) or a fuse labeled HVAC.

A shop could take 5 minutes to pull the fuse or the blower connection, this is a problem?
