Auto Transmission Gasket

I will be changing the auto transmission filter 1995 Metro Sedan and would like to know if the transmission pan gasket needs any type of sealer/adhesive to hold it in place. The manuals I have do not specify this...just comfiming.

Yes, that's correct - no adhesive or sealer required.
