can i take the vortec heads and intake from a 4.3 w block and put them on a 4.3 z block tbi with reqular heads on it.

I can't say for certain, you might try checking with the Chevy Blazer section of this site.

you might also check with an auto parts recycler (junk yard). they have a pretty good cross reference of compatible parts across engine types.
