I Hope someone can help me out here. I have a 94' Blazer 2wd with the 4.3 W code. Its running rough at idle, sluggish acceleration , occasional bad cat converter smell, and using alot of fuel. I just replace the coil, plugs, wires, and distrubutor. The mechanic told me it was the efcm(his phrase) and the part would be $350-500. The guy at the parts store told me this part doesn't exist. Any insights?

Sounds like the classic leaking CPI (injection) and nut kit (hoses) under the upper intake. Search the many posts on this and the fix is in the FAQ section.

pull the imtv off the top of the intake manifold (under the vortec cover) and look down in there for leaks. if u have one, u will see clean areas. clean on drivers side=bad nut kit, clean on pass side=bad fuel regulator.

Yip, CPI injector and nut kit.
Also you will need to clean your EGR valve.

Don't worry, you did the right thing by replacing it all.
