stock b16a rev limit

even tho my buddy will have one soon enough and im sure he will hit it. i was just wondering what the stock b16a ecu revlimit was set to and what the engine could actually take. thanks

im pretty sure the revlimit is about 7500 and the redline is abotu 7800 and as for taking it well i think 7k is a cake walk for it but dont qutie me on that

Uhhhhhhh what? Pretty sure redline is at 8000 and revlimit is around 8400 on a stock ecu.
When I had my b16 I never hit the rev limit once. But I reved to 8k daily.

99% sure it's 8200rpm. My si cluster goes to 8k rev limiter kicks in right after that. It does go past 8k though.

Stock for stock yeah sure... the turtle screams pretty quick in the rpms though. I think it's the light rotational mass of 1lb crank pulley and 11lb flywheel combo... haha.

They dont move all that quick...Its a long road to 8k in 3rd gear, trust me...makes you second guess it before you ever get there. 1st andsecond are fun though, I need a lightened flywheel. 16 is too damn heavy!
