there used to be a good list of things to look for when buying an FC, the link dosent work anymore does anyone know a good list? looking at an 87 turbo.. but thinking the non turbo might be a better first car. cant wait to baby her :D

well man, to be honest, i would say it would be better to get a n/a for a first timer in the rx7 category just caz i jumped in and got a TII and man i didnt know shit bout the car and it was a nightmare when something went wrong on this thing. i mean do get me wrong the TII is a basass car....i luv it, in the process of rebuilding mine, but the n/a is just more reliable.

just make sure the body is straight, get a carfax (i can do it for you if you just pm me the vin), make sure teh engine idles fine and if it doesnt ask for a compresion test

yea i was starting to think more towards the n/a because of the reliability. how are they for modding, can i get much horsepower with bolt ons? how many km are n/a known for? is 160 000 too much?

86-88 is 146 to be exact :P
and yes the 89-91's are 160
the extra 1000 rpms and 14hp makes a difference.
torque is the same between both engines
