318 fuel system

I have a 98 dodge dakota 318 and had the fuel pump go out. i replaced the pump and now have fuel pressure but she won't start. It start to fire a little when starting and then nothing, she fires fire when given a sniff of ether. what to look at next?

Did you use a fuel pressure guage?

Did you hook everything up right? Is your fuel pump relay possibly blown?

Change your fuel filter lately?
