I have a 1995 Camaro... It was running fine last night, but as of 5 am this morning, it wouldn't start. I realized that the Security light flashes now. I have full power. Got the key looked at and they said the chip was loose. So I bought a new key, however I'm still having the same problem. I've also disconnected and reconnected the battery sevral times... checked fuses... kicked it... I'm running outta ideas!! Does anyone else know of something that I don't?!

Well there are a few things you can do. You can have vats programmed out, you can buy a resistor at radio shack based on the key value or you could bring the car to the dealer and get raped (last one is no fun)

check the other post on this page, i think its says the same thing as yours. the guy posted it like 4 days ago and we told him exactly how to do it....2 people in the same week and the vats took a dump on them both.... i know they made them so they would go out in 4-6 years so they can get your money.

I use to have vats issue's in my 86 Vette. Sometimes it would choose not to start but my other vettes and my Formula are all fine and the vats I am programming out now in the formula but only cause I am adding remote start.
