I have a '96 MX3 with a broken sunroof. I just got the car and decided to open it up. It refused to close. Tried jumping wires, everything. Finally I forced it closed to the point that the front edge is touching the roof, but it is still cocked up.

My question is how can I (manually, I suppose, since nothing else works) get the sunrrof to lay back down flat?

I have a ten hour trip this weekend, and would really appreciate any advice.

:sunglasse Well take it apart, usually they a controlled by cords and motors. Like you tried rigging up the wire, pull the motor out and test it outside of the car with a car battery, if it works it works. Look for anything jammed in the way and such. And when you tried working the motor did you here it try to turn, usually they make a noise if they are stuck and they are trying to move.
