SRT-4 exhuast

yea i think im cutting the exhaust tips off and putting on mufflers to replace them..

I agree... dual mufflers 100% positively will not help you on an SXT. I unclamped my stock exhaust at the rear tire, and made a new pipe and clamp to slide over the existing pipe and hanger, and ran an offset Flowmaster 30-series muffler (2 1/2" inlet and outlet) with a stainless steel tip out the back... I would have originally put a polished can on it, but I didn't want the "ricer" look or sound. The 30-series Flowmaster deepened it up a bit without quieting it down that much.

The SRT4 McDonald's-arches-looking dual stainless pipe will basically bolt right up to the SXT pipe, but like already said... it is LOUD. I mean, REALLY loud. I tried running just a straight pipe on my '04 SXT and I shut it down after a whole 30 seconds. Every cop within 5 miles probably heard me. Needs a muffler if you use one off an SRT4!

If you would just like the dual tip look, why not get a muffler from a 2nd gen neon R/T? They look real nice and you can get one for around $100 shipped used and it bolt's right on.

Are you sure the stocker will bolt right up? Are they both 2 1/4? If you are going for just looks...just have an exhaust shop do a custom for you.

I know the 95-99 neons have 2.25" piping and I believe the 00-06 non R/T or ACR have 2" piping. SRT-4 has 2.25", i think!
