2005 Envoy 3.0 Navigation Disc

I have a 2005 Envoy with a 3.0 navigation disc. The disc has been scratched and will not play. I am trying to avoid buying a new one from the dealership at $400. I have someone who can burn me a 4.1 or a 3.0 but they are having trouble finding a 3.0 to burn. My question is can I use a 4.1 burned disc in my navigation system? Has anyone successfully burned a 4.1 or a 3.0 disc?
