Cylinder Compression Question

Hello there my friend!

Today I just did a compression test on all my cylinder and here are the result, and it is a 4RUNNER V6 92' AT 4x4.

Cylinder 5: 165 psi <--> Cylinder 6: 170 psi

Cylinder 3: 150 psi <--> Cylinder 4: 167 psi

Cylinder 1: 149 psi <--> Cylinder 2: 165 psi

So what does that mean? is it bad or good? right now the truck does not run, it will start but sometime has bad idle and will not go any faster than 10 MPH if I go any more than that then the 'check engine' will lidup, Thanks!

The numbers you posted above, are they the result of a wet or dry compression test? Did you do both a wet and dry compression test? The 21lb difference between cylinder 1 and 6 is not good but I wouldn't condemn the motor over it. You are going to have to do a complete compression test in order to determine weaknesses.
What do the spark plugs look like? When was your last tune-up? Have you tried using fuel injector cleaner? Is the air intake clean? Do you have a clean air filter installed? How much oil are you losing? Is your oil level good? What is your fuel economy? What does code 52 mean?

I did it on a dry test and have been using fuel injector and did a manifold clean, I am still using the old air filter which I did clean it, oil level is good but leaking oil and I loose 1 qt. every 3 to 4 weeks, maybe coming from the oil pan or back seal, fuel is bad but I did fix it due to loosing screw on the injector chamber, I think it should be fine now, and never mind the code 52, thanks.

On all the cylinder I did the problem is that cylinder 1, 3, and 6 has oil on its spark plugs when I first pull it out, so you mean I should pour some amount of oil into the cylinder to do a complete compression test? Thanks bud! for the help.

Oil on the spark plugs is not good. Oil is getting into the cylinders and will affect perfomance. It will cause missing. Causes can possibly be worn piston rings, cylinder bore, valve guides.
