I just picked up a 96 Bonny superchared with 105,000 on it. All seems well with it . I was wondering what was EPA's MPG on the car. I read that replacement of the OS senser would help mileage.

Welcome to AF!!
You can check epa.gov as they usually will have fuel mileage figures for most cars and they keep them posted for a long time although 10 years may be stretching it. As for economy, old O2 sensors can decrease fuel mileage. If you are really concerned a new air filter, new plugs and wires, making sure the tires are properly inflated and conservative driving are the best ways to increase fuel mileage.

@knight7,, more like 225...96 and up were 240 with the seres ll engine.
@pkbell,
should get somwhere around 21-30+/-mpg,,,BUT,,,all depends on how
heavy your foot is and driving conditions etc. PLus if you don't know you
MUST use preamium gas in that car to get the best MPG out of it plus you
could cause damage with to much NR with 87 oct.
And yes a new O2 senser is a very good idea, and only use AC delco!!!!

Hi,
I've owned a 96 SSEI for 8 years now. It has 100k miles on it. Still looks great. The mpg are around 19 mpg city/24 hwy. I don't lead boot it all the time either. I think that's pretty close to what it was originally rated at.
I don't know about the sensor to boost mileage. You might try talking with a Pontiac service guy about it.
