I just bought some crappy salsa, so that is why i am starting this thread.
Best(so far) Ortega
Worst(so far) Santa Fe. I didn't think it would be any good, but it was on sale so I thought i'd give it a try. The label said it was great stuff... It is horrible.

Anything but Pace.
But seriously, I use to love Arriba although I don't as much anymore. I love the green salsa's too. Lupe Tortilla here in Htown has the best salsa.

Mmmmm...Tostitos Mild Salsa.
I like that bland not-spicy Americanized salsa.
I've survived the past few years on chips and salsa. My favorite food.

it's all about homemade salsa. i grow like 10 different types of chile peppers each day. usually have about 50 - 60 plants per season. the last REAL good salsa i made had habanero peppers, carrots, and tomatoes and other stuff in it. it was hot, but the carrots helped control the heat. and it was f'ing good. i don't know what your salsa selection is like at your local grocery store but here in New Mexico we have everything. i like Sadie's, Gardunos, Cervantes, 505 makes some great salsas. i usually try to get a different jar each time i'm at the store just to try it out.

it has gotta be homemade. anything mass produced is designed to suck.
since im from a cold place where no salsa can grow.

Talking about dips, I usually have home made guacamole, anyway I was in town bought some corn chips and thought I would try out the Masterfoods guacamole-style dip, which boasted a creamy blend of tasty avocados and fresh capsicums, also they say. after tasting the stuff I almost puked I was like WTF is in this shit.
Read what it containd on the pack it had:
1% avocado
5% capsicum
and the rest was thickner/Vegetable gum. and the avocado colour was made in a lab from chlorophyll and copper.
WTF are these people trying to kill us or somthing 1% avocado for fuck sake!!!
