1987 325i Engine swap

Hi, I recently bought a 1987 BMW 325i (sentimental reasons) that needs major restoration. It is missing everything. So I want to give it all new parts from the newer Bimmers. But I also want to give it a 5 spd trans and a 4 liter engine. Is that possible?
