Cant open hood Help

My dad is planning on selling his 91 dodge ram and he wanted to replace the cable for the hood latch.It was sticking and finally broke.He removed it and took it with him to compare with the new one he was buying.Well to get to the point somehow he managed to shut the hood and it latched.How do you get it open when there is no cable?

wow.thats gonna be fun. gotta either try to crawl up under and reach up to the latch manually if it's even possible to reach. might have to take out grille if thats even possible without opening hood. send a post when you do get it open!!!

yeah thats gonna be a tricky one. Gonna have to play around with it and see what you can come up with.
