dash problems

my 1994 gmc sonoma dash keeps going out. its digital and it never ever works. the only way it works is if i drive for awhile and pound on it with fist really hard and it pops on for awhile. What is wrong with it?

This is a known problem with digital dashes. The fix is to replace the digital dash.
