Ok, well upon trying to take apart my tranny, I found that I can only get it maybe 3/4 of an inch apart and its stuck somewhere. I dont know where, and Im sure someone knows what im talking about.

Actually taking the tranny apart or do you mean, apart from the motor?

I've done overhauls on several manual trannys but never a dsm one. Alot of timers there are hidden check balls that will hold the cover on. They are usually behind a bolt in the case but make sure you remember where everything goes and you dont loose anything

pr, is what your talking about like bolts with springs holding bearings? Theres a few like that towards the back of the tranny but it seems like its getting stuck in the middle where its already apart.

Do you have a procedure sheet for doing this?

I figured I could find one online, or on the forums, but not at the moment. I just planned on cracking it open and leaving all the gears along for now.
