Ok... put in a new light switch. Turned on lights and had tail lights. Went out this evening and started motor, turned on headlights, and NO DASH or TAIL LIGHTS AGAIN!! Anybody got any ideas?

Pull fuse 8 and check for voltage on one of the 2 terminals in the fuse block.
Do you have a trailer connector on your truck?

Look for this connector under the dash and see if it's loose or has wiring problems.

What I just discovered. Bulbs are "murphy proof" but the socket is not. In the wrong way, brake light stays lite. Too much current, blows the fuse..
