1995 Suburban Wiring Problem

Whenever I use my turn signal the battery gauge starts flickering at the pace of the blinker. Also, my drivers window will not always go down and when it doesn't the battery gauge will go down when I press the power window button. This usually happens when it gets warmer outside. I've traced the wiring and havent found any problems. What could be causing this? Thank you for your help.

With your window, I would suspect either the window motor or the window regulator or both. The windows draw lots of amperage, and the guage will likely reflect that. But since the window will not operate at times, it is no doubt binding and/or the motor is failing thus drawing more current.

Your turn signal making the guage jump would make me first look at your battery connections or your battery health in general. If the battery checks out good, you might want to look at your charging system.
