i own a 2000 mitsubshi eclipse woo hoo right...anyway when i get home at night and park the car and try to start it up in like couple of minutes it starts great....then by the time morning comes i have to crank the key and at first no sound then starts struggling to start after about 2 min the cranking gets faster and starts up.....i replaced the battery and the alternator and still having problems...also when i am at a stop sign the car is idling okay like it used to then when i step on the gas to pull out the car sputters and nearly stalls out.......ive already put too much money into the car and havent solved anything anybody out there have any ideas. :banghead:

i'm going to say that i have not a clue

when is the last time you have done a tune-up, timing belt, alternator belt

do you leave any lights on in the car?

is there a potentially bad ground somewhere?

that's about the extent if my ideas which are rarely if ever good

You may have a bad cell in the battery or a drain somewhere in your wire harness, go to a shop and have them run a Sabre test on it to check the belts tension and wear, also it checks the starter, and if you have a system and foglights and stuff try not running them for a day and see what happens the next morning. If you have a sears around you with the auto center the test will 12.99 so try that stuff and see how it works also make sure you dont have any corrosion on the terminals.
