Only bad thing there is.. I find Emo songs on her computer from time to time.

haha, i'm sorry, i had to laugh at that, after a mushy story like that one.

yeah dude, just ask why she lies it so much, and the best thing you can do, imo, is respect it. i mean, go ahead make fun of her every chance you get, but make sure she know's you're just playin' around, i guess.

You crazy kids with your puppy dog love, and your colored chalk, with your fanny packs, and NERF footballs, eating your late night IHOP, watching your MTV, your dial-up DSL, and your "laser" disk, with your cellularized telephones, watching your crazy Ninja Turtles, unlocking the "magic" with your Oreos, and....umm..anyway...

Only bad thing there is.. I find Emo songs on her computer from time to time.

Is there anyone here experiencing something like this? I sure hope...

Don't worry about it at all. I'm sure it's just a stage. It's only an Emo song from time to time. I remember in middle school when Hanson was popular and I hated them. I remember how Hanson was the greatest band in the world and if you didn't like them you sucked. Well after about a couple of months everybody forgot about them and things were normal.

I say let it run its course. Most women experiment with things. They'll try something whether it's mind altering drugs, going down on their best friend, an Emo song, or plastic surgery.

That is actually very sweet and nice to read.
It's a REALLY good sign to be liked/supported by the girl's mother. That goes a long way to making the relationship work smoothly, if the girl is still living at home.
I knew a girl like that; met her about 23 years ago.

I married her and its been great ever since.

What are emo songs? Emotional songs? Oh if that's the case then maybe she likes listening to those songs and thinking about you? Ever thought of it that way?

Sounds about like how I felt about my girlfriend when I first met her:smile:. We're on a year and a half together and I wouldn't have anyone else.

Everyone has their little quirks, that's what makes relationships interesting. If you really care about the person, you look past the little things and focus only on them and why you love them/care about them. Congrats.

yup, i listen to queen and shit, hell i listen to anything.

but the fact i listen to freddy mercury doesn't make me gay, so emo music wont make her emo. you can tell she's happy so the music doesnt reflect on her.

Congrats on the prized relationship. Like Muscletang said don't worry bout the music.... I remember the whole Hansen thing from Highschool as well...the horror....do wap....god I can't beleive it was only a couple of months it seemed like a eternity.
Is staind/Creed classed as emo???
creed isn't but staind has pretty much turned emo after their first album(which is the best one)

nono emo isn't that kind of emotional song...it's more aobut the heart ache and pain and sorrow you feel after someone rips out your heart after you gave it to them (brings back memories...must cut myself again to remember)
