87 Crx Hack job

We just picked this up from the junkyard it keeps over heating because the fan is always on??? We looked at the wires from the thermostat and there compleetly hacked. We reffered to the wiring diagram in the Haynes but still isn't solving the problem can somebody post a pic of of a normal setup of the thermostat wiring underneath the car so I can relate and see OR if needed I can put a pic up of our wiring...
