FYI I bid on an item from etamiya through ebay. the item came immaculate and quickly too. they emailed me with the payment details within an hour of the end of the auction. i paid $10 for shipping through ebay so it was like $2 cheaper than their site.
Nothing but praise from me on etamiya. ryuluk/sanxler is a deadbeat

Not sure... there is some very good price.... 14$ for a "new" model is very cheap
even with shipping, it still less that what i usuly pay...

I recently ordered 2 kits from HLJ and the total for each kit came up to about S$40, which is more than what I would normally pay for a kit if I had not been lazy and gotten my butt down to the store. But I got them in about 10 days and they were in immaculate condition. I'm really happy with it.
:D
Basically I thinnk that whenever you order something from the internet, make sure that it is from a reputable site or person. Otherwise not receiving your kit is going to be the least of your worries.
Question: Can a seller post positive feedback for himself? All he has to do is log on to the net from a different computer/account and his IP address would be different.

yes its possible.. but he would need to make an auction, buy it and leave a feelback.... he would pay some fees (ebay fees)
but he need different email (hotmail, yahoo and other dont work)
so it would be difficult, but not imposible

I'm amazed at how many people still want to deal with sanxler (BFScamArtist!) Would you ever go to a store, pay for something, and then 1/3 of the time have the salesperson turn around, keep your money, keep the goods, and then ignore you? I'd want to whack him with a bat!!
I've had GREAT success with ebay...especially in finding hard to find kits at a good price. I myself have 100 positives but 3 negative feedback by people who "jumped-the-gun" when their kits were delayed because of heavy cross-border shipping problems over last Christmas. A negative or two is acceptable as problems DO happen and sometimes people just like to complain -not realizing the comments are permanent.
A GOOD TIP when reading ebay feedback is to ALSO SCAN THE POSITIVE COMMENTS on the seller! Some people leave positive feedback BEFORE the auction is completed and have gotten their kits. I'm SURE THEY NEVER GOT THEIR KIT IN THE END!!! Some people have had serious problems but were "too nice" to complain or leave a neutral.
WHAT TO DO ABOUT SANXER/RYLUKY...
1...DON"T BUY FROM HIM!!! SHOP AROUND ON THE INTERNET....I ALWAYS CHECK HLJ and Great Models Webstore for pricing -even before bidding on something on ebay! BEFORE bidding, I emailed SANXLER about combining shipping on 3 kits and he refused...saying that it cost 10.00 per kit no matter what. I never believed him after checking out HLJ and seeing their shipping rates -the kits were $1.00 more but shipping was $20.00 less!!!
2...CONTACT THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT AT EBAY OR SEND A COMPLAINT LETTER TO EBAY ABOUT HIM....he can change his email address -but a scammer can only change his name/email/credit card info so many times!
3...If you're really p.o'd about him...START A CRUSADE and send emails to the people who have been scammed by him. I THINK ALL OF US HERE WOULD SUPPORT IT!
4...Unfortunately, he will always be somewhere trying to sell crappy damaged stuff to people who are willing to take the chance...that's just the way it is.
