Hello everyone, firstable congratulations for this great site. iam glad i found it
there a lot of useful info.
I just got a 2004 yukon SLT with lost of new features for me,i would like to know as far as driving modes wich is the best for normal city/highway driving
i read the manual but still kind of confused about.
these are the options i have:

1.- stabilitrack: this button is used with the stabilitrack system and is also used to shift the transfer case into neutral.

2.- all-wheel drive: this setting delivers power to all four wheels as needed
depending on road and driving conditions.

3: 4LO: this setting delivers extra torque.it sends maximun powwer to all four wheels.

when i turn the truck on the number 2 is automatically selected, so i was wondering if i should change it.

kind of a silly question but maybe somebody with a truck like this can help me .
thanks in advance.

IMPORTANT: if you are driving in normal, everyday conditions, ALWAYS keep it in 2.
If you ever get into any off-road conditions or wet, slippery, icy pavement, then lower your speed and change it to all-wheel drive.
Only change into 4LO if you are going 3mph or under, and are doing some heavy off-roading that requires a lot of extra traction (use at low speeds only). I say this because using 4LO carelessly will cause your whole driveline to prematurely wear out and fail.
