First time getting pulled over :D

allright guys, i'm at my parents house right now and couple minutes ago i just got pulled over, haha, i'm so happy, i'm not sure if i should be proud of this or piss but i finally got pulled over after 3 yrs of getting my license, omg finally!! LOL

yeah, the story, i'm visiting my parents for the week-ends cuz i got work off, so i'm just cruising around this little town (about 14,000 population) and there's no one to pick a fight with, so i'm switching lanes cuz people dont know that slow traffic stays on the right lane, anyways, I pulled over to an empty parking lot and pull right out of there cuz i know the papi is on my tail, he follows me in the empty parking lot and follows right behind me again, but fails short, then i continue driving normally and switching rather "quickly" to the other side. I'm now in front of an SUV and he stays alongside with the SUV for a couple seconds, then bam! when it clears enough for his car to go through, he switched on the rainbow lights! WOO HOO! i pull over and search for my registration in my glove box, he comes running out while i'm still searching, I look at him, he flashes his flashlights inside my car and my eyes

me: "whats the problem officer?"
:no response:
me again: "whats the problem officer?"
::no response::
ME AGAIN: (thinking in my head, wtf is this dude's problem? this time i said it freakin loud) "WHATS THE PROBLEM OFFICER?"
finally he goes
Him: you were switching lanes rather fast and driving suspiciously
me: i'm just cruising officer, i'm looking for my registration right now, it's in my glovebox
him: i dont need your registration, all i need is your driver's license
i give him my driver's license
couple seconds i mean SECONDS later he comes back
him: is there a reason you were switching lanes so fast?
me: I'm just cruising, i'm visiting my parents
him: where do your parents live?
me: north of town (hence their address on my driver's license)
him: well, you're just driving suspicously (i kinda was, i was trying to get away from him, i do that to every cop who tails me, i try to get rid of them, dont u?
me: I'm just cruising, thats all
him: is this car yours?
me: yeah it is, of course it is sir
then his radio calls and says: "red toyota"
him: ok, have a nice day now (or something like that, i dont really remember what he said at the end)

whats the law about switching lanes and turning on your turn signals? do you have to turn on your signals before you switch lanes or duing, cuz I turn on my signals and switch lanes at the same time. I just re-locate my taillights and the turn lights is right next to the night lights which is hard to see when i turn on my signals, but its there and its legal :p not sure if i should be proud of my first time getting pulled over or ashamed that i got pulled over, but WOOT! i finally got pulled over after all these years! i'm kinda happy..:icon16:

i wonder if my fart can and altezzas had anything to do with this :dunno:

well, now that i finally got pulled over (which i was trying to) after all these years, i'll try to not lose a papi if they tailgate me again, peace!

Yeah, I usually drive by the book if cop is flipping a bitch unless its a two way and he stuck behind other cars and cant pass. In that case I just keep going the same speed he' clocked me at in the slight chance you can keep going and get far enough ahead to just turn off somewhere (unless I'm barely speeding). However, when I did that last time the cop was a complete ass about it. I just told him he didn't have his cherries on so I didn't even know you were chasing me. Your happy you have been pulled over? I'm never happy to see the 5.0 in the rear view mirror whether its a ticket or not.

When your 21 you get to go to bars and dont have the possibility of getting mip. If you get pulled over for your first time from there on out your more likely to get another ticket if your pulled over agian. I've been issued 4 or 5 tickets in the past year. That may explain why I hate seeing the flashers in the rear view mirror.

I think its around $1200-1300 a year. Not sure but I would think tickets would affect insurance here in Nebraska but I don't know for sure.

Don't know if it's illegal. But I do know I was pulled over for it a month or so ago. I reved up the vr4 and launched at a light. Not the hardest, but a hard launch for being on a public road. I hit 47 in a 45, let off, and was promptly pulled over by 3 cop cars that materialized from thin air. They asked if I was racing. I said "what, that corolla?" :screwy:
They let me off with a warning. The way I see it, even if it isn't a law, they can call it racing, or reckless driving, or whatever they feel like at that moment.

i saw him behind me at the light and there was about four other cars around so i just followed everyone. i didnt think i was doing anything wrong utill he started riding me really close

see, driving in new york (in traffic) you should never use your turn signals, cause if you do pepole will notice it and speed up so you cant get in.

See, I get people trying to pass me when I'm already doing 80+ in the left lane...I almost always accelerate just enough so they can't get past me. Am I a dick? Fuckin' right I am. There's no reason to pass me if I'm already going 85mph. I don't know, I like pissing people off sometimes.

ran a stop sighn, get around the corner and tada! a lake city police officer. I know im out of his jurisdiction so i dont think too much of it. Next thing i know he pull over on the side of the road as if to make a U-Turn, as i pass him he is on the radio. FUCK!

Also, if you "didnt do anything" and your a dick...they WILL find something to write you a ticket for, or make sure you have to sit as they search your car. If your being a dick, thats reasonable suspision :rolleyes: . If your cool to them generally it will go smother and you wont get any troubble.
