Question concering BCM

I don't really know what I'm asking for here, so forgive me if something doesn't sound right, i'm just relaying a concern from someone else regarding a vehicle.

I was asked to find out where on a Monte Carlo 2001 the BCM is located, how difficult it would be to take it out, and how you would go about taking it out. That's all I was given.

I tried searching around without much luck, so I'm hoping I can get some info here. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The BCM is located under the dash behind the glove box above the passenger's right foot. You cannot eliminate the BCM if that's what you mean by take it out. It controls many functions including dome lights, security system, exit delay, drl's, etc... and cannot be eliminated without massive loss of functions and extensive rewiring of practically the whole car.
