Nice video! Although IMO I think all car companies will go bankrupt within our lifetime. If anyone hasn't noticed our oil reserve is pretty much gone and prices on gas will continue to rise. It is estimated to edventually go over 7 dollars a gallon. With gas prices continueing to rise I doubt many people will continue to buy cars. Don't panic yet lol. I am sure we still have at least 20 or so years till we see that high of gas prices but... still.

They'll just switch over to new technologies that make oil obsolete. Toyota and Honda already have many hybrids in their lineup including SUVs, the Accord, Civic, Prius, Camry, etc. Btw, have you seen the torque on these things. The Prius has 295 ft-lbs @ 0-1200 rpm, and almost 400 at 4200 rpm! But only like 130hp. And fuel cells will probably replace it all completely within 10 years. Then you can drink out of your exhaust pipe too! ;D (they emit pure water and nothig else)

The problem with alternative fuels is that America has already spend a billion+ dollars on a pipe line/refineries for us to get oil and gas that it would be hard to ween off of petroleum based products. I think before anything there will be a boom in fuels such as E-85, and hell if anyone watched trucks on spike tv you know you can already make your own diesel.:2cents:
