How to remove rotors? - 99, 2500 series

Can anyone tell me how to remove the front brake rotors on a 99 Suburban, 2500 series, 8-lug wheels?

I have already removed the caliper, large nut and the 4 rotor/hub bolts.

Looks like the rotor is on a spline and I am suspecting I need a puller of some sort to pull it off - yes? If so, is there a certain one?

THANKS in advance!

Get a "dead blow" hammer. Tap the axle in a little. Then go to the back and tap the hub out. Repeat this with heavier blows until you can slide the hub off off.

If I read your post properly, you have the hub and rotor assembly off the vehicle? To get the rotor off the hub,you need to pound out the wheel studs and then to separate the hub from the rotor, you need to rotate the hub to slip the rotor off.
If the hub is still on the vehicle, there are hub pullers available.I have had to use the hub mount bolts to remove the hub.I lossened the bolts a few threads and then used a hammer and punch on the bolt heads to force the hub off.You have to be carefull not to mushroom the heads of the bolts because they are are special size head for the bolt.If you don't feel comfortable with this method, then don't try it.It was the only way available for me to do the job.I hope this will help.
